At 19:59 UTC on Monday, the scene’s unofficial wire service filed this:
BREAKING: Actor Noah Wyle emerges as the clear favorite to be People’s 2026 Sexiest Man Alive, edging Clavicular & more. 79% chance.
— Polymarket (@Polymarket) October 19, 2026
Note the runner-up named in the headline. Not Timothée Chalamet, not Bad Bunny. Clavicular — the looksmaxxing streamer currently running a $7,500-a-week camp out of an LA mansion.
“Edging” is generous. We pulled the market.
The numbers
Polymarket’s People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2026 market opened on 11 February. As of 07:05 UTC this morning it had traded $127,393 across ten named contracts.
| Contract | Volume traded | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Clavicular | $101,818 | 2.8% |
| Bad Bunny | $8,537 | 2.95% |
| Noah Wyle | $7,487 | 78.5% |
| Timothée Chalamet | $2,220 | 3.15% |
| Ali G | $2,210 | 3.1% |
| Michael B. Jordan | $1,707 | 1.2% |
| Connor Storrie | $1,301 | 0.3% |
| Hudson Williams | $953 | 3.2% |
| Travis Kelce | $695 | 2.9% |
| Ryan Gosling | $465 | 3.2% |
Clavicular is 79.9% of all the money in the market. He’s priced below Ryan Gosling, below Ali G and level with Travis Kelce.
The favourite, meanwhile, is 5.9% of the volume. Wyle’s contract rose about 8 points in the past week — on $437 of trading. The whole event did $2,691 that week, so at least $99,000 of Clavicular’s volume is older, and his price moved half a point. Volume also counts both sides of every trade: buying “No” on Clavicular adds to it as much as buying “Yes.”
So Clavicular isn’t the market’s second favourite. He’s its liquidity. Nine men are competing for a magazine cover. One is what people actually came to trade.
The favourite
Noah Wyle was born on 4 June 1971, which makes him 55. He plays Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch on HBO Max’s The Pitt — the attending physician running a Pittsburgh trauma department — and won Lead Actor in a Drama Series at the Emmys in 2025 and again in 2026, two years running. Before that he spent the 1990s and 2000s as Dr. John Carter on ER.
The pick isn’t unhinged. People has crowned a TV doctor before: Patrick Dempsey, Grey’s Anatomy’s McDreamy, in 2023. And the last five honorees — Paul Rudd, Chris Evans, Dempsey, John Krasinski, Jonathan Bailey — were all announced between 3 and 13 November. If that holds, the market has roughly three weeks left. Its own rules give People until 31 December, after which it resolves “Other.”
The best reply under Polymarket’s post came from @foombler: “a 55 year old tv doctor mogging clavicular without a single mewing session. looksmaxxing is cooked.”
As mogging goes, it’s a very specific kind. Wyle is beating Clavicular at the price. Clavicular is beating everyone at the volume.
Why the streamer is on the board at all
Polymarket listed Clavicular in February next to Chalamet and Kelce. That alone is the story the scene has been telling all year: the respectability ladder runs from forum to Paris runway to an App Store chart to a South Park episode — and now to a prediction market where his name is listed alongside a pop star and an NFL tight end. People has never named a streamer, and the market gives this one under 3%. The traders put $101,818 behind the question anyway.
A 2.8% chance isn’t zero. It’s roughly what the market gives Chalamet.
Looksmaxxing isn’t cooked. It just isn’t the favourite. It’s the volume.
